Just ate here and everything we ordered was fresh and very tasty. We shared 3 dishes, chicken yellow curry, Pork fried green curry rice and yellow noodle shrimp. All very authentic and so delicious. Authentic Thai food. Delicious and reasonable price for this area. They cook pretty fast even they are busy which is not the same at other Thai restaurants. One thing that's a bit annoyed me is the table is too close to each other due to the limited space. The place is always full at dinner time so you should book the table first or go a bit earlier than 7 pm. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Krua Thai Restaurant ended up being one of our absolute favorite Thai meals on Koh Phangan. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh and homemade, and the entire experience had that warm, family-style feeling that’s impossible to fake. We started with both the papaya salad and the mango salad, and they were outstanding — bright, crisp, perfectly dressed, and just spicy enough to wake up all the flavors. The spring rolls came out piping hot and clearly freshly made, with the perfect crunchy exterior and delicious filling. The Pad See Ew with chicken was cooked perfectly. The noodles practically melted in your mouth, the seasoning was spot on, and the balance of vegetables and chicken made it one of the best versions we’ve tried. But the true showstopper was the Tom Kha coconut soup with chicken. It was beautifully seasoned, full of fresh vegetables and tender chicken, and perfectly balanced — not too sweet and definitely not salty like many resort versions. It tasted like something lovingly made in someone’s own kitchen. We finished the meal with a freshly mixed Coke Zero and rum, which surprisingly elevated the entire experience. The service was just as memorable. Our waiter was incredibly kind, funny, and genuinely accommodating. Even with the restaurant packed, he made us feel completely at home and added so much joy to the evening. And the best part? The entire bill was under $25 USD. For food and hospitality of this quality, that’s almost unbelievable. Krua Thai is truly a must-visit in the village — phenomenal flavors, warm service, and exceptional value.
