I went during lunch and both the lunch set and a la carte menu were given to me. The item ‘duck with red curry’ appeared on both menus but the former was $92, while the latter was $148. I wanted to order the lunch set duck curry but i wanted to take a look at what it looked like before ordering so i opened the a la carte menu and found a picture. The waitress took my order but didn’t confirm whether it’s from the lunch set or not. When i paid, i was charged the à la carte price. When i asked the staff, they said the portion was different for the two menus and said i opened the a la carte menu and so i was assumed to be ordering from it. To my understanding, when the same item appeared in both menus, they would be assumed to be same thing and the lunch set will be a discount offered to the customers coming to the restaurant at lunch time. And i came during lunch time so why would i ordered a more pricey option when i can get the same thing from the lunch menu lol. The portion difference was neither indicated on the menus nor mentioned by the waitress taking my order. Or least, they could have confirmed whether i was getting the set or à la carte lol. The duck with red curry itself was not bad but I just felt like i was deceived somehow. Not a very pleasant dining experience here.. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I ordered the Tom Yum Goong and Tom Ka Gai soups on foodpanda for lunch. Lovely food, amazing taste and great quality. Totally value for money. I contacted them directly to send positive feedback and that they have a new loyal customer now. Congratulations to the team at Krua Walaiphan!
