One of the best aged fish omakase experiences I’ve had. Chef Alex was warm and welcoming and I really appreciate the Chef and team’s thoughtfulness in accommodating my allergies. The service throughout was attentive and we felt genuinely well taken care of. The food was excellent from start to finish. It was a memorable experience and we look forward to be back. Undoubtedly one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Chef Alex was an absolute joy to dine with and the staff were super attentive and hospitable — they took the time to explain each and every dish to us, and shared more about how the dishes incorporated Kyoten’s signature ageing techniques to bring out more even flavours and better textures. Everything was beautifully and delicately balanced and intentionally plated. Loved watching chef prepare the food! Will definitely be back again. Had a really wonderful dining experience at Kyoten Japanese Cuisine. Sitting at the counter made it even more special — you get to watch the entire preparation up close, and every detail shows the level of craftsmanship. Chef Alex truly made the experience memorable. He’s not only highly skilled but also very friendly and humorous, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. It didn’t feel too formal — just the right balance of professionalism and warmth. The sushi was outstanding — incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and each piece had its own unique flavour. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into every bite. From the fatty cuts to the lighter pieces, everything was well-paced and thoughtfully served. Overall, a fantastic omakase experience. Great food, great atmosphere, and a chef who knows how to make guests feel welcome. Definitely a place I would come back to again.
