I think the staff know *exactly* what tourists want and work extremely hard to make that experience happen. They were super responsive and super attentive and they knew their craft. Unfortunately I am a beer snob who knows craft beer and this was ok but not good beer. It’s also extremely overpriced beer. It’s not bad beer. I can’t fault the staff. It’s just not good beer. And at that price point, you can easily do better. I can name 10 better breweries making more interesting beers than the 4 beers we tried here. Isekado in Tokyo. Craft beer base in Osaka. West Coast brewing in Fukuoka. Etc. Each of these makes much more interesting beer. Much, much more. I can see why someone not interested in beer would have a great time. The staff really make the effort to ensure you have a good time. That’s ok as long as you know — you are drinking squarely meh beer at approx. 2x the price point of such beer. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We were able to experience the award winning beer from Kyoto Arasgiyama Brewery at the Matsuo Shrine, and it was soooo good. We were able to go before and after entering! The owner was so kind and understanding of myself and my partner! Please come experience their amazing selections!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
