Today we tried LALA Kitchen. I got the 黑松露時蔬義大利麵 (truffle & vegetable pasta) - cost: NT. 340. My boyfriend got the 紐澳良海鮮飯 (seafood jambalaya) - cost: NT. 400. The food was good. Atmosphere and food were indeed very american style (except the peeling of shrimp in the jambalaya- where in the US the shrimp would have been peeled and headless- unlike here). The portion sizes were fair. Prices are definitely on the higher end but not unreasonable. Only complaint is they have many things labeled “vegan” that are not actually vegan, but vegetarian. Be aware when ordering. Aside from the mislabeling, it was overall a good experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NT$400–600 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: There are about 4 vegetarian options (2 of which are vegan).
