The food quality was far below expectations, and we ended up discarding almost half of the beef. To make matters worse, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling extremely nauseous and vomited up what I had eaten. It was a horrible experience, and I had a sleepless night. My partner also suffered from severe diarrhea. It’s likely the food was prepared unhygienically, leading to these issues.
I wrote a feedback via email as I was prompted to share my dining experience. I had mention the case of the food poisoning, and not too long after, "Adrien Astagneau" who identified himself as the Group Operations Manager got in touch via WhatsApp. He initially showed concern and offered us a full refund for the dining experience, and the ordeal we had gone through. I replied, and agreed to accept his proposal.
After the refund was agreed upon, he deleted his original message and cannot be contacted via WhatsApp. He did not reply to any more text or pick up the phone. It is quite apparent he had a change of mind, for fear his message would incriminate himself and the restaurant. We felt absolutely cheated.
