I come here for dinner at least once each time I am in Bangkok. I just arrived from a week in Paris and this was as delightful a meal as I had in the motherland. I ventured out onto the street after experiencing the earthquake on the 26th floor of the Conrad Bangkok, very scary, most places in the area were closed but L'Escargot Bistro was open for business! The duck breast with a 2016 Chateau d'Armailhac -- the wine still youthful but developing complexity from that great Bordeaux vintage -- was splendid. The creme brûlée is among the best I've ever had. The owner and staff are very friendly. A fun place, and the prices are very rational. It is basically across the street from the Conrad Bangkok hotel. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up! I highly recommend this restaurant for a little taste of Paris in the great city of Bangkok!
