ちょいおしゃれなカフェ。タマサート大学の近くで、学割もあるようですが基本的に高い。アイスコーヒー一杯が１００バーツ（１バーツ≒4.12円）でした。英語が通じます。Ｗｉ−Ｆｉがあり席によっては電源も使ってよいようです。でも旅行客がわざわざ行く必要はないという感じですかねー。. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿100–200 Parking: そんなものは無い Wheelchair accessibility: おそらくこの店にたどり着くのも難しい。

Lua Cafe is a quiet air conditioned riverside coffeehouse tucked along Phra Chan Alley, just steps from Tha Phrachan Pier and Thammasat University. The location makes it easy to reach from Sanam Luang, yet the cafe feels hidden away once you step inside. The entrance is down a narrow lane toward the canal, and the second‑floor seating area opens up to quiet views…. a welcome retreat from the busy street outside. The young woman working here was very polite and helpful as I tried to explain that I wanted Thai Coffee with condensed milk and a chocolate cookie. The drinks menu covers the essentials: lattes (ลาเต้), cappuccinos (คาปูชิโน่), americanos (อเมริกาโน่), and mochas (มอคค่า). For tea lovers, there’s iced matcha latte (มัทฉะลาเต้เย็น) and hot matcha, plus seasonal fruit teas and regular teas. Creative twists like cocoa mint (โกโก้มินต์) add variety, and iced drinks are especially popular with some of the students escaping the heat. I have been here several times and the food options are light but satisfying. Breakfast pies (พายอาหารเช้า) and savory pastries pair well with coffee, while brownies (บราวนี่) and small cakes (เค้ก) make for a sweet break. Sandwiches and light meals are available too, keeping the menu versatile without being overwhelming. This time I just got a Thai iced coffee as well as a cookie on the side. The coffee was strong and yet not too sweet, which is how I like it! The cookie was perfect, soft and fresh! The atmosphere is cozy and modern, with artistic touches in the decor and a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to linger. The second floor seating is air‑conditioned which is of course where I headed!!!! It’s a nice cool spot for Thammasat students, locals, and tourists like me who want a quiet corner to relax, or if you want to work, or chat. I will be back!
