First off. It is a grill buffet. Upon entering, the atmosphere are semi outdoor. Loud and weirdly not as airy as it should be being Semi outdoor. The waiter are speaking at Whispering level. And im assuming they are not Thai Native. Both accent and voice level makes it very unclear what they are asking combining with the atmospheric "noise" in the background. From all the buffet experience, you could navigate intuitively-ish. The waiter ask 2 things from what I assume are 1) do you want refill drinks? And 2) What kind of Hot plate you want?. Im assuming they have 2 kinds, the curve hot plate with ring of moat and another could be a claypot, i do not know, since i choose the first one by looking at what the other table were using and point at it that i want that too. (The Moo Kra Ta hot plate) Then you can sit down and order meat from the small paper menu. (Photo attached). Tick it and specify amount next to it. These are already cut and plated into the condo plate. So they just bring it for you real quick. Then you can go and pick some veggies and dipping sauces. At this point, its standard buffet eating. But Mookrata are famously known that it require you to change the hot plate since meat easily burn on its surface. They will charge you for changing the pan. This is weird. And they did not tell you beforehand either. 20 bath, as noted by the receipt (photo attached) only found this out when i looked at receipt. Well overall the meat was nice. I only ordered the main beef. Ponn Yang Kum. (โพนยางคำ) And picked some veggies. At the end there's some ice cream for you to partake for dessert. I didnt drink much of the drink. So i was wondering if you can say no to the drink refill or not. Since it would cost you 50 baht for the refill, if you are not soda drinkers, maybe you could say no? Not sure. The options are all sugar soda; Cola, Lemon Ice Tea, Red Fanta and Orange Fanta. I could eat here if i have to. But i would not sought after it. I would advice to go to Yang Noei (ย่างเนย) which is not that far from there by car. Same same atmosphere but better more food choices, albeit a bit more expensive but the services and space are much more better.
