Very tasty pastries, better selection in the morning when it’s freshly baked . The cheese cookies are buttery & light. Highly recommended! Sitting is limited but there were tables available on a weekday morning. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

one of your must haves on your list when you travel, or even just live in the area. quite literally the best pastry i have ever tasted in my life. Flaky and toasted on the outside, and amazingly airy on the inside. Both a mix of sweets and savory items for those who can't decide. Even offering breads that all taste heavenly just on their own. on our trip we stopped in every morning to try something new and never found something we didn't like here. There is a selection of different drinks (both coffee and non-coffee, mostly without caffeine for those who do not drink coffee. but as someone who doesn't drink coffee i was not thirsty at all). Owner and workers all speak stellar english! And offer both take away and in house seating. when i come back, I'll have to make sure i stay somewhere close again so i can walk here each morning for breakfast. 100/10 come for the delicious pastries, stay for the captivating baker Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Charming Bakery Gem in Jongno – La Boite Bleue La Boite Bleue had been on my must-visit list for our trip to South Korea, especially since it was just around the corner from our Airbnb in Jongno. Despite its convenient location, we kept missing the chance to visit—usually heading out early to explore and returning too late after it had closed. Luckily, I finally managed to stop by one day, and it was absolutely worth the wait. The shop itself is incredibly charming, with a cozy atmosphere that immediately draws you in. Their selection of pastries is both beautiful and delicious—everything I tried was fantastic. What made the experience even better was the person working there, who may have been the owner. They spoke fluent English and were genuinely kind and helpful, which made the visit all the more memorable. If I ever find myself in Korea again, I will definitely make time to return to Jongno just to visit La Boite Bleue. It’s a little hidden gem that truly stands out!
