Love the Beef bone-in short rib 65 oz. Must try! The portion is so big. We have two adults and two kids, and still have some left. It was well cooked. This was the second time we came back for the short rib. Will definitely come back again. Our service was excellent. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Meat lovers buffet from 3-5PM The “tea time” buffet. Skip unless you have a great deal We had a discount from KLOOK so it was good value overall. Overall rating is 3/5 For the location there are much better buffets nearby. If I was traveling in Taipei I’d never choose this place. Only because we live here for a long time and was interested in trying it did we actually come. Food - As the “meat lovers buffet” one inherently comes with expectations. La Farfalla simply didn’t meet these. It’s not a full service buffet so there are limited items (around 20 core dishes). While they focus on quality over quantity - there are still lacking points. Mainly the options for good meat is too less. I expected grilled beef with garlic, and more flavorful meats for a “meat lovers buffet.” Regular buffets nearby actually have better meat selections and is overall worth spending more $$ to enjoy. Drink selection- very small for 3-5pm meal. They had soda, coffee, juices, and milk tea available. No water surprisingly and other drinks you need to pay for separately. It wasn’t until after we left did we realize there was tea and possibly other drinks at the entrance — so it’s odd that for the included drinks half are next to the food in plain sight and half are hidden. Prime rib beef - mainly it is served medium and not much is medium well. You can’t ask for alterations. A few pieces occasionally were simply too chewy and I couldn’t eat them. Pork knuckle - this is good but skin was hard. Crispy pork - this is great, pair it with the grilled pineapple. Lamb - very good, maybe the best meat item. Chicken - there are two different types and neither are worth trying. They should take it off and add salmon or a monthly special meat item that people actually like. Pasta carbonara - they have added a pasta dish and it’s mainly pasta with pork knuckle. It’s really good when you put it in a bowl and add parmesan cheese from the salad bar. Cheese - no more blue cheese but the two options they have were great. Pumpkin soup - as others suggest this was very good. It’s a top 5 item to try. Desserts - I thought I saw a picture of ice cream but this is not served during meat lovers buffet. They have decent selection of cakes and pastries - cheesecake is the best. As a brownie lover I was very disappointed with the taste of their “raw chocolate brownie”. We don’t need raw, we need tasty chocolate brownie (please and thank you). Chicken liver on baguette - this was another highlight. Service - definitely service was great. Very quick, friendly, and polite. We had to tell them to take away the pile of empty Coke Zero cans and used cups. It should have been obvious to take those Atmosphere - nice big tables and spacious layout so it doesn’t feel crowded. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
