If you are looking for a true masterpiece in a pastry box, La Grigne Patisserie is an absolute must-visit. I recently tried their cakes, and to say they were "delicious" feels like an understatement. These are easily some of the most exquisite and flavorful cakes I have ever encountered. There is a level of craftsmanship and unique taste here that I’ve never experienced anywhere else—each bite is perfectly balanced, not overly sweet and incredibly fresh. Food: 5 Service: 5

Almond Croissant: 3 stars It’s a sort of fusion croissant where the almonds and frangipane are mixed with a sort of mitarashi (Japanese sweet soy sauce glaze) The croissant dough itself was also a bit dry, not enough butter — even after re-toasting it at home. I think I just prefer a normal solid almond croissant à la TBB Would come back to try their pistachio chocolate escargot
