シンガポールで「LaLevain」のエッグタルトをいただきました。 一口食べた瞬間、サクサクのパイ生地と、とろけるようになめらかなカスタードのバランスの良さに驚きました。甘さも上品でくどさがなく、最後まで美味しく楽しめる絶妙な味わいです。 店内は清潔感があり、スタッフの皆さんも笑顔で親切に対応してくださり、とても気持ちよく利用することができました。パンや焼き菓子も魅力的で、思わずまた訪れたくなるようなお店です。 私自身、美容師として細部へのこだわりを大切にしていますが、このエッグタルトからも素材選びや焼き加減への丁寧な仕事が伝わってきました。シンプルだからこそ、ごまかしの利かない一品だと感じます。 これまで食べたエッグタルトの中でも特に印象に残る美味しさでした。エッグタルト好きの方にはぜひ一度味わっていただきたい、おすすめのお店です。. La Levain - where your morning starts with the smell of happiness The moment you walk through the doors at La Levain, you're hit with it: the warm aroma of freshly baked pastries mixed with freshly ground coffee. It's the kind of smell that makes you instantly relax. I went for the burnt cheesecake and the egg tarts, and wow - to die for. Light, fluffy pastry with a silky smooth filling that just melts. Honestly made my whole morning. And because I have a serious sweet tooth, I also had to try the Caramel Macchiato. Ended up drinking two. It's rich, caramel-y, and the perfect match for the pastries. Do not miss this spot. La Levain is pure comfort in a cup and a bite. Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a french butter croissant ($4) to go. The butter flavour was prominent while the layers were flaky, crispy and had a nice savoury touch. Interior was fluffy and light. Only downside is that the croissant was cold, so I guess I'll ask for it to be warmed in future. Price per person: $1–10
