Lovely and friendly staff, with pretty tasty food, the service is sadly not very observant. It was 20 minutes from arrival to my first drink getting to the table, and another 10 minutes of empty plates and wine glasses once I had finished my food. The restaurant was operating at around 30% capacity and easily had enough staff. The concept of an aperitif (relaxing over a drink whilst reading the menu and ordering your food) is lost on both this team, and the one at the adjoining Thai restaurant. Fine if you're going local, as it's not done here - but an Italian restaurant should know about it and consider that customers might want it. If you can't observe, don't hide wine and water in buckets away from the table. Let the customers self serve by leaving them within reach. Certainly not good enough for the 6,000 THB meal for one person price tag. At breakfast, I was at my table for 45 minutes and not once did anyone ask me if I wanted anything from the menu. We all loved it at La Sirena: it was our first visit there but it won’t be our last! We never made it to the main courses as we were so taken with the appetizers, we ordered seconds. The favorites were beetroot salad and beef carpaccio but the pizza was delicious too! Kudos to the staff who delivered 5-star service and besides, they were patient and very accommodating. Fantastic breakfast place with the ocean views High quality food with nice service. Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options are available. Avo on toast was beautiful and tasty for raw vegan option is fantastic. Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate your specific restrictions.
