ワインとスイーツを楽しみたくて立ち寄ってみたけど、お店も素敵でまた行きたくなりました！ ちょうどお客様他に居なくて色々お喋りして とっても楽しかった オーナーは女性でめちゃくちゃ頭良くて ワインのこともすごく勉強になったし、 サバサバした性格がほんと楽しかった！男性オーナーの多いワインバーより居心地良いかも チーズケーキ、塩が合う〜 これだけでもお店できそう！ また場所がいいとこなんですよね人知れず〜

Visiting from Singapore, my wife and I popped by La Traboule after doing a Google search for wine bars in Hiroshima. It's in an obscure place so you will NOT chance upon it walking by. Owner/proprietress Miho was so hospitable and very patient with our occasional language challenges. She even included us in some of the conversation she was having with other bar customers. It was like we were a guest at her own home; just the best kind of warmth you can have while traveling in a foreign country. Her wine recommendations were good and very thoughtful. She offered a very wide selection of wines by the glass and she uses a coravin to dispense many of these wines. The coravin is a pretty expensive system to keep using (with all the nitrogen refills needed) so it just speaks to me that she pays attention to preserving our experience of her wines. I suppose this is why most wine bars I've been to prefer to sell a whole bottle and offer only a small rotating selection of wines by the glass. That night alone I had wines from Taurasi (Italy), Hiroshima (local Japan), Yamanashi (Japan), Burgstadt (Germany), Serbia, and Slovenia. The wines were wildly different in style and profile but they all had a balance in taste that I appreciated to be Miho's very thoughtful curation of her wines. We had a great cheeseboard and an awesome crepe suzette. I have a feeling that the rest of her food menu is well curated too. Did I mention that everything there was very thoughtful?
