During a casual stroll in Seoul, I stumbled upon a cozy neighborhood café and decided to give it a try. One of their standout menu items is their signature waffle—or more accurately, a croffle—served with pistachio ice cream. The combination was delightful, with the buttery, crisp layers of the croffle pairing nicely with the rich and creamy pistachio ice cream. However, one downside was that the croffle wasn’t served warm, which would have enhanced the texture and flavor even more. It was still enjoyable, but a hot, freshly made croffle would have taken it to the next level. Ordering at the café proved to be a bit challenging. They use a self-service vending machine system, but unfortunately, the interface is entirely in Korean. For non-Korean speakers, this can be a bit intimidating. Thankfully, the staff were very friendly and willing to assist with the ordering process, which helped smooth things over.
