Lae Moon Cafe is an interesting place because you basically get two experiences in one — a café and a Japanese restaurant. Starting with the café, their matcha is definitely one of the highlights. They have several styles to choose from, and my personal favorite is the clear matcha. It has a cleaner, more direct matcha taste and feels very refreshing. I also heard that their matcha latte is very good if you prefer something creamier and smoother. For the restaurant side, they call it Bas Su Kaya. The concept is Japanese food that still keeps an authentic base, but with around 20% fusion added in, which makes the menu a little more interesting without losing the Japanese character. Overall, I really like the concept here. You can come just for a good matcha, stay for a proper meal, or do both in one visit. A nice place if you enjoy Japanese food and want something slightly different from the usual café or restaurant experience. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
