My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time at L’amant Secret. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The food was spectacular, true fine dining at its best. Each course was a delight, paired beautifully with excellent bread. The star of the meal was the chicken, hands down the best I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable. The "goodbye kiss" with coffee or tea added a sweet touch to the end of our meal, and we were pleasantly surprised with a small gift to take home. The staff also noticed my wife's love for their bread trio (baguette, brioche and sourdough) and kindly gave us some to take away. We booked through CatchTable and didn't realize staying guests at L’Escape could get a 10% discount. After paying, the staff who had been taking care of us chased us down when he noticed we didn't have our coats (ergo, we were hotel guests). He clarified the discount, helped us refund and redo the bill. Such a lovely gesture! Terrific eye. Overall, it was a perfect evening from start to finish.
