Lamees brings a cozy, rustic Mediterranean feel to a quiet neighbourhood. It's not flashy—more of a relaxed hideaway for honest cooking. Service was warm, and the manager checked on us. Dishes arrived at a comfortable pace, perfect for a laid-back dinner for two. Here's what we had: Trio Dip – smooth, smoky baba ganoush, creamy classic hummus, and aromatic truffle hummus; great with warm pita Kibdeh Chicken Liver – rich, earthy, caramelised; bold flavour Organic Blue Mussel – my fav. Plump, sweet mussels steamed in a fragrant broth that begged for bread. I love the soup. Fresh Tagliatelle Octopus – al dente pasta with tender octopus; light but satisfying Bozza – creamy pistachio-coated ice cream; cool, nutty, not too sweet Kanafeh – warm, crispy shredded pastry with stretchy melted cheese and sweet syrup Pro tip: Eat them together – cold ice cream with hot, gooey cheese pastry.
