Max and Kai are two /wonderful/ people. Their coffee is amazing (could do with a bit less ice, though) and their food is great. The prices are a bit steep for your average Thai places (I top out at 40 baht most places) but it's worth it for the atmosphere if you don't mind paying for that sort of thing. It also helps to know a bit of Thai, too, because Max and Kai tend to like to talk to you and get to know you better, especially if you live in the area. It's sort of off-the-beaten path and I've never seen more than two other people there.

tl;dr Great place, great food, just a tad steep on the average Thai prices.
