Lassana Coffee in Sheung Wan is a charming little neighbourhood gem that quietly wins you over with its sincerity and quality. Tucked away from the bustle, the café offers a calm, cosy atmosphere—perfect for slowing down and enjoying a proper cup of coffee. Their brews are well-crafted and aromatic, balanced with care and consistency, showing the team’s genuine passion for coffee. What makes the experience even better is the warm and welcoming service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home, whether you’re popping in for a quick takeaway or lingering for a relaxed afternoon. Note: This café accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, and other forms of E-payment options, along with cash, and both debit and credit cards. There's also no additional 10% service charge. I got an "Iced Cafe Latte" for HKD40, which is standard price for most cafés that is near this area. For the price, the drink is quite large, but unfortunately, the taste ain't quite there yet. There's way too much milk, and overall, the flavor isn't rich in coffee flavor, and lacks the coffee aroma you get in other cafés. This is definitely more of a restaurant that also serves coffee instead of an individual coffee store. It serves its purpose, but I wouldn't recommend if you solely want to chill and eat at a café, there's better choices for a similar price. Service: 4/5. If it's not at rush hour, they will also serve you the food and drinks to your table without needing you to go out of your seat to pick it up. Along with that, the staff was also respectful and efficient at their work. Atmosphere: 4/5. Theres more than plenty of seating, ranging from lounge armchairs and sofas to stools. The seating available ranges from dining alone to dining with around 8 people per long table. This feels like an area for casual business chatter, and it shows, when I went here, most of the other customers are talking their respective business while dining. The large area also caters to the influx of many potential customers. This is why for the overall score I gave it 3 stars. If you want to drink coffee and chill at a café with friends, there's better choices, but if you want to have a business chatter with your colleagues, then this is the right place for you. This Lassana is more of a cafe than a coffee shop, with a larger than usual open seating area that gets fairly busy around midday with area office workers taking their lunch here. They do typical coffee and non-coffee drinks as well. I was recently served a macchiato, served latte style instead of espresso. It was very milky, actually tasted more like a piccolo than a macchiato. Otherwise, not bad if you don't mind your macchiatos being more of the white variety.
