Boon Keng Fish Soup at Lau Ka Kopitiam is one of the best fish soup stalls I've visited. The fish is always fresh, thick, and generously portioned, while the soup is rich, fragrant, and full of flavour. Despite the long queues, the stall is clean, well-managed, and the staff are always polite and efficient. What truly sets this place apart is the owner, Ah Boon, He is friendly, kind-hearted, and genuinely cares about the community. I was impressed to learn that he allows customers to purchase food vouchers so that elderly residents in need can redeem them for free meals. It's a thoughtful initiative that shows his generosity and compassion. Great food, excellent service, and a boss with a big heart. Highly recommended if you're looking for delicious fish soup while supporting a business that gives back to the community. The coffee shop itself also has excellent food. The satay is perfectly grilled with a delicious smoky flavour, and the chicken dishes are equally outstanding. With such a wide variety of tasty food, it's a fantastic place for family dinners where everyone can find something they enjoy.
