It was incredibly hot outside, and I didn't want to risk getting heatstroke, so I sought refuge at Lawan, one of the few neighboring places equipped with air conditioning. A server with an unfriendly attitude recommended the 'Shrimp Paste Fried Rice.' I wondered why their demeanor was so unwelcoming. However, the food itself was delicious and truly authentic. Despite my initial reservations about the shrimp paste's smell, this particular dish exceeded my expectations. If the sweet pork had been slightly sweeter, it would have been perfect. Unfortunately, the server never bothered to ask if I needed water or inquire about how I was enjoying the food. Instead, they hid behind the TV, barely visible. Would I return? Perhaps, but considering the service I received, I'll have to think twice. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿1–100 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
