The cosiest place with the nicest people! Been here a hundred times and gonna come here again. Coffee is also great and so are the desserts, best ones I’ve eaten in Korea so far. And the penguins! The owner and the baristas are the kindest, they helped me a lot with my Korean and gave me advice on travelling around the country. Thank you for everything Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Far from the main Busan sightseeing areas of Haeundae beach and Jeon-po dong, Suan-dong is rarely visited by weekend visitors to this huge city. For fans of independent coffee shops though the suburb has plenty of good options including Monoscope, Suan Coffee, Momos Coffee and Lazy Moment Coffee Stand. Filled with books, goods to browse and a weekday brunch menu, Lazy Moment’s lounge style cafe has become the perfect third space for neighbours and Busan regulars. Central to this community, Lazy Moment, founded in 2018, has also been a driving force in growing the coffee and roasting scene more widely in Busan, from their support of the Busan Coffee Festival and National Coffee Show to taking part in the Korea Cup Tasters Championship. Led by head barista Park Minhye and head roaster Lim Hyungin they focus entirely on speciality beans for filter coffee only, roasted in-house on their locally manufactured Easyster roaster.
