After eating local food, we wanted a change, and found this French restaurant using google maps. It was quiet while we were there, probably as it is not in the main tourist street. The food and wine were excellent, and the chef/owner made us a salad on request which was not on the menu. We enjoyed our experience, so we returned on our last day and had another delicious meal. The owner was pleasant with very good English and French. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was really good but its not quite a restaurant. They need to hire another cook, add a few tables, and more protein dishes. The talent is there. Branch out. Make it a real restaurant. During my stay in Gyeongju, I had the pleasure of discovering "Le Jour J," an exceptional French restaurant. As a French native, I was delighted to chat with the chef and owner, who lived in Paris for three years. The quality of the food was simply extraordinary. I enjoyed the shrimp pasta and calamari, both homemade and delicious, reminiscent of authentic French flavors. The wine was excellent, and I especially appreciated that the menu suggested wine pairings for each dish. The warm ambiance and attentive service completed this unforgettable culinary experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of French cuisine, whether they are locals or visitors in Gyeongju. Congratulations to the chef and the server for this wonderful culinary moment!
