Drove 45 minutes again from Kamala to eat there! Why? Good traditional French fare, it’s not Michelin however it’s outstanding and authentic. The owner is present every time and truly cares that you have a good experience. The Thai staff are lovely and smiling. You can also take away charcuterie, meat etc to enjoy another day. Lucky to have this little restaurant and shop in Phuket. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I walked past Le Panier Gourmand while waiting for my visa agent to open. I saw the reviews and went back later to try the food. I was impressed! I had an amazing lunch of filet of beef, frits and green beans with garlic. The beef was accompanied by a tasty peppercorn sauce. The ingredients used were excellent. The chef cooked my steak medium and it was perfect. I loved the frits. The meal was a treat to enjoy. This was decent food, superbly cooked. The desert options looked amazing but I was too full to try this time. There is also a deli counter. The chef and his staff were welcoming and friendly. Many customers were French which added to the atmosphere. This is a true French bistro. A little piece of France in Phuket. Thank you for an enjoyable lunch. I will return!
