All the positive review shocked us after the treatment we received in the hotel which was located in a dirty alleyway. After our room not being ready on time (5pm) the Manager who is a sneaky liar was aggressive and condescending, threatened us, stole our money (£500) then kicked us out when we argued back in the same tone he used, and first claimed we didn’t show up then when we sent proof to booking.com they claimed we broke the rules to to stop our refund. If you want to be threatened in a foreign country then go here. I have attached My reviews from my Airbnb stays below to show I am always a good guest who never breaks the rules. Also very dark rooms and poor A/C. In the Uk that old man would be arrested for theft and threats. Would not feel safe around these people if I was a woman travelling alone, be safe. Service: 1

A beautiful hotel in the perfect location at Patong Beach. My girlfriend and I booked three nights there as the last leg of a three week vacation in Thailand. The hotel is immaculately kept, the rooms are spacious, and the staff and owner were kind and accommodating—even allowing us to park our car directly in front of the hotel for the duration of our stay. The location is set back off the road and the hotel is well insulated so we weren’t affected by street noise at all. The ninth floor rooftop saltwater pool is lovely and the view of the city and ocean is unparalleled. While we had initially booked for three nights, the US/Israeli attacks on Iran and its neighbors caused our return flight home (through Doha) to get cancelled. The owner helped us extend our stay (at a discounted rate) and was helpful in suggesting alternative plans to get back home. We live a world away but if we ever manage to return to Phuket, we’d love to stay here again. Service: 5

Great stay in the heart of Patong! I had a wonderful experience at Bab Alhara Hotel in Patong. The location is excellent—close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and nightlife, yet the hotel itself is quiet and relaxing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to feel at home after a long day out. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed. Overall, Bab Alhara offers great value for money with its comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Patong and would happily stay here again.
