If you are craving a hearty bowl of Wanton Mee in the Raffles Place area, this is the place to go. Located at the basement of CIMB Plaza, you get to enjoy different variations of Wanton Mee (Soup or Dry) in air-conditioned comfort. The Wanton Mee here departs slightly from the traditional types you find in hawker centres, but it is still good and worth a try. Pricing is fair in view of the location and quality of ingredients. Happy to find good Wanton Mee in the CBD area. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried the wanton mee at Legend Specialties. The char siew looked really good and some pieces tasted great, though a few parts were extremely fatty. Probably better to ask for leaner cuts next time if you prefer less fat. The noodles themselves were nice, but the chilli was a bit too light for me. I’m quite a heavy spice guy, so I asked for extra chilli. Would be better if the chilli has different spice levels to cater to different crowd. Overall it was quite an alright meal, especially since it comes with a drink and an extra fried dumpling, which makes the set feel more worth it. Also want to mention that the lady manning the stall was very nice and friendly, which made the experience more pleasant.
