Lido Japanese Restaurant is a time-honored restaurant in Taipei. It was founded in 1943 and has been in business for almost 80 years. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Taipei. Lido is located at Taipei MRT Ximen Station, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 5, on the side near Zhongshan Hall. Lido prefers Japanese cuisine mixed with Taiwanese style. The restaurant has three floors and is equipped with many large round tables, which is quite suitable for gatherings of many people. The menu includes non-menu dishes at different price points, as well as affordable Japanese set meals. This time we came to the Taiwan Sugar Association for a meeting and education training. We went out for lunch at noon, and we realized that there was a time-honored restaurant hidden here. Lido originally had a store on the main road outside, but later moved into an alley. However, there are large signboards at the intersection, so you don't have to worry about going too far. The signboard has a sense of history, and the outside has been decorated with wooden fences, small chandeliers, and small benches. Lido offers Japanese bento set meals, as well as off-menu dishes. Today, the receptionist chose a Japanese bento set meal priced at $330. Not only did it include side dishes, freshly grilled ayu, and a complete Japanese lunch box, it showed a strong sense of Japanese style. The flavor makes you feel very full after one meal.
