Had a plate of Pig Leg Rice at their Albert Centre Market & Food Centre Branch. A standard portion comes with a serving of meat, a portion of pickled vegetables, a slice of prawn cake, and a braised egg. The pork is braised to absolute perfection. The meat is just nice with the gloriously melt-in-the-mouth skin and fat layers. It's a wonderful textural experience where the collagen-rich parts provide a luxurious, sticky richness without being overly oily . The meat is well-braised, carrying a savoury depth. But there is one piece with unpleasant porky odour . The light yet flavorful sauce, is drizzled on top, soaking partial of the rice with a mellow savouriness. If you happen to be at Bugis Albert Food Centre and in the mood for delicious Pig Leg Rice with Onsen Egg, you should stop by the Lin Ji Pig Leg Rice stall. Their pig leg has lots of well marinated meat. Placed on a bed of rice with their marinade sauce, preserved vegetables and a whole onsen egg. And then the chilli that came with the dish, I normally ask for a second pack, it has a kick to it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Feb 2026 $6.90 pork leg rice - I ordered the 3rd picture. It has quite a lot of meat too, not just the fats nice and filling. Also, the picture mentioned onsen egg, but it’s not. Just an overcooked boiled egg. The man and woman manning the store is funny, love them! Funny and happy. I told them I want to dine in but I said it in mandarin “wo zhe li chi” and they ask me to pull a chair and eat at their stall lmao.
