Came for a quick tea break. Service was really nice! Breads from the Cake Room can also be opted for dine-in. The piano peformance also creates a soothing atmosphere in the afternoon! Price per person: $200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In the afternoon, I met with some friends to chat in the Lobby Court of Shangri-La hotel in Taipei. The dining area is comfortable and warm, the service staff are considerate and professional, and the live piano, bel canto and soft rhythm of music allow us to talk about the past and imagine the future while savoring the present. On that day, we had multiple set meals focusing on Asian flavors (ASTE OF ASIA). We shared these meals and they were all delicious. Especially the dish "Thai Massaman Beef (Australian) Curry Lined with Potatoes" impressed me deeply. It is comparable to wagyu-grade beef cuts, with a fresh taste and a sufficient portion. Paired with rich curry, I think it is more delicious and more amazing than the Hungarian beef goulash (Beef Goulash) I ate on the banks of the Danube River in the past. I am very satisfied with the atmosphere, environment, service, food, desserts, and tea here. It’s worth a visit again and again! I met up with some friends at the Lobby Court of the Shangri-La Hotel in Taipei. The dining area was cozy and warm, and the service staffs were attentive and professional. With live piano music and soothing melodies in the background, we were able to savor the moment, reminiscing about the past and envisioning the future. On that day, we tried several set menus with an emphasis on Asian flavors, and all of the dishes we shared were delicious. Especially memorable was the "MASSAMAN BEEF CURRY (Braised Australian Wagyu cheek beef in Thai massaman curry)" dish. The beef was of top-notch quality, tender and flavorful, and paired with the rich curry. I found it was more delicious and impressive than the Beef Goulash I had in the past along the Danube River. I was very satisfied with the ambiance, environment, service, food, desserts, and tea. This place is definitely worth visiting and revisiting!
