I stayed in H11 Bungalow, facing directly the Bay and next to the swimming pool, there are others that they are at an angle to the Bay. The room is very well setup, very comfortable bed, excellent and quiet air conditioning, no bug in the room, very clean. The swimming pool is very clean, and large and deep enough to do serious laps. Lots of sun loungers and seldom they are all full. All the staff I had met are very helpful and lots of smiles. The grounds are beautiful with lots of beautiful plants. The beach is long and sandy and very easy to walk up and down without using the main road which is not nice to walk along compared to the sandy beach. Sadly, there is no bar service at the pool and there is no breakfast too. The nearest one is just right next door and it has good views but the food is so so. The reason for 4 star is that there was a power outage on one day from around 9am to 4pm, I cannot use my room because there was no air conditioning. I then ventured out and most places had their backup power generators running and even massage ladies had their fans running fine. So, this resort hasn't spent enough to have a proper power generator and only the office was running on that day and every other people suffered. I am very disappointed with it and hope the Management will fix it soon because power outage on the island is not uncommon.

We are still staying here and I can’t even wait to check out to leave a review. This resort is truly OUTSTANDING, with the best TEAM from the reception, to pick up to HOUSEKEEPING. Special mention for Sunny that is a great host. The grounds are super well maintained and so are the rooms. The surrounding area is peaceful, authentic, natural, very Thai as well as the beach front that is amazing. Awesome beach. Awesome people. Awesome resort. Thank you for offering us a GREAT time! Do not hesitate to stay at Long Bay Resort. It's about a 20 minute drive from the pier. Located in tropical well maintained gardens and on the beach. We were after somewhere relaxing and peaceful and stayed in a standard cottage as well as a garden hut. Both had comfortable beds. If you're not watching your budget, then choose the bigger cottages for that extra comfort and space. The hotel staff are so helpful and took care of us like booking our transfers to and from the pier, providing extra pillows, and generally taking time to interact with us. They have daily housekeeping. The pool is beautiful with many sun loungers. We had many meals at the restaurant. Food is reasonably priced and they cater to vegans as well. They do happy hour and firework shows. A nice stop to have a cold beer and watch the sunset from here. We hired a motorcycle to explore the island but you can walk 3 minutes to nearby 7-Eleven and restaurants. We would happily stay at Long Bay Resort again and would highly recommend this hotel.
