We recently stayed at the lord nelson hotel and had the best experience ever.! We have traveled the world over many years and have never met a staff like they have at the Nelson, But we both agreed that we had to write a very special review as soon as we got home So here it is.. At the majority of places you stay there usually is a certain stand out member of staff that is a little better than the others, Well to be honest that doesn’t even come close to what we both experienced At the lord Nelson hotel there is a young lady on reception named Belle .. I wish we could express just how wonderful she is but I worry that we can’t find the words or enough of them to explain just how amazing this young lady is. So kind So caring So helpful even on her own time We can’t say enough about belle . Truly amazing and knowledgeable so far above her young years So please visit the Nelson and experience a wonderful hotel and amazing food,staff and quality. And above all please go and meet Belle . My wife and me stayed at The Lord Nelson from the 17th to 19th February for a short getaway. First the pros: Ample wall plugs, there’s a total of 8 wall plugs in the room. Samsung TV that works well. Fridge with freezer. Nice sea view. Complimentary shampoo and shower foam which is nice. Cons: shower area is very small, water pressure is weak, drainage chokes up easily. Bed is kinda small. All in all, an enjoyable stay. Service: 5
