The Marcos restaurant at the Amari Vogue hotel Krabi is a total disaster. We initially had lunch there, and the food was truly disappointing. We ordered two different curries: one that was supposedly a typical Krabi curry with coconut milk and crab, according to the menu description, and another, a simple vegetarian green curry with tofu. Both arrived exactly the same in appearance and taste, as if the chef had used the same base for both, and extremely spicy, despite our request for the mildest possible. My wife's was vegetarian with tofu, but it only had tofu, without any other vegetables, as you would expect from a good vegetarian Thai curry. At that lunch, we were the first table for quite a while, yet the service was very slow. Later, we wanted to give the restaurant another chance and planned to try Western food with a bottle of wine, so we made a reservation on their website (see screenshot, taken because we didn't receive any confirmation by email or text) for dinner on February 4, 2026. But when we arrived, they had no idea it existed, so we had to go somewhere else. While we were waiting for them to get the reservation, we noticed they were setting up makeshift, poor-quality, camping-style tables outside for other customers. Superb service and really good food. So good we had to go two nights in a row and they made room for us very quickly even though we weren’t hotel guests. I recommend the beef salad appetizer and the sticky rice and cheesecake for desert! Shoutout to the band that was playing both nights! I walked past and had a craving for home comfort Pizza ..but when in Thailand you have to try the speciality. So the Thai-style pizza with chicken, half of hot basil leaf, chili, garlic and red curry sauce OMG one of the best things I have eaten here on my travels. Definitely try if you like chicken prawns and spices !! No regrets super tasty I polished it off Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿600–800 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
