Superb food and especially.. super clean. The best: stir fried scallops with rice, stir fried noodles with squid. Also good: tomyum noodles pan. The only one we wished have been better is the sliced beef with soy sauce, which was more on the medium well side than medium rare. Maybe ordering rare would have been easier to make. We asked for everything less spicy so it was easier to eat and they came out just like that. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Louisvanich (หลุยส์วาณิชย์) on Banthat Thong Road is a well-known spot serving classic Thai comfort food with bold, traditional flavors, set in a fun, nostalgic atmosphere with old-school details. I went for the ribeye cooked in oil—juicy, rich, and perfectly done. Adding a bit of nam prik pla gave it a nice spicy kick that worked really well with the meat. I paired it with a refreshing chrysanthemum juice to balance the flavors. On another visit, I tried the ribeye in garlic oil sauce with golden longan juice—another solid combination. Next time, I’ll probably explore one of their stir-fry dishes or try another version of the ribeye. Overall, very happy with the food. The place is usually packed with locals, which says a lot.
