Disappointing Experience Despite Appealing Presentation I visited Louk In Louk Jaan with high expectations, particularly given the visual presentation of the dishes, which appeared well-arranged and thoughtfully plated, as shown in the accompanying photo. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet acceptable standards. The most concerning issue was the freshness of the food. The ingredients did not taste fresh, and the overall flavor profile fell below what would be considered satisfactory, especially for a restaurant positioned at this price point. The dish lacked depth, balance, and the quality one would expect for its cost. In addition, the pricing felt significantly disproportionate to the quality delivered. For the level of freshness, taste, and execution, the menu prices are difficult to justify. Most disappointing, however, was the service attitude from some of the staff members. While I understand that service roles can be demanding, I encountered behavior that felt aggressive, unfriendly, and lacking basic hospitality. This greatly impacted the dining atmosphere and overall comfort. I believe this establishment has potential, especially in terms of presentation, but there is a clear need for improvement in ingredient quality, flavor execution, pricing fairness, and staff service mindset. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and used to enhance the experience for future guests. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
