Luca Beach Bar in Phuket is a great spot that delivers a genuinely enjoyable beach bar experience with some seriously tasty pizza. The pizza was well made with a good base, quality toppings, and authentic flavors that hit the spot perfectly. If you are looking for a solid pizza at a beach bar in Phuket this place will not let you down. The service was friendly and attentive with staff that made the whole visit pleasant and relaxed. The overall beach bar vibe was on point and it is the kind of place where you can easily spend a few hours enjoying the atmosphere with good food and drinks. There are two things that hold it back from a full five stars though. First the pizza comes loaded with a very generous amount of cheese. While cheese lovers might see this as a positive, it was honestly a bit too much and started to overpower the other flavors on the pizza. A slightly lighter hand on the cheese would let the other ingredients shine more and create a better balanced pizza overall. The second and more practical issue is the seating situation when it rains. Being a beach bar the setup is naturally quite open, which is perfect in good weather. But when the rain hits, and this is Phuket so it will, finding a dry spot to sit becomes a real challenge. You end up getting wet or having to awkwardly relocate mid meal, which is not ideal. Some better rain protection or covered seating areas would make a huge difference and allow guests to enjoy their visit regardless of what the weather decides to do. Four stars because the food and service are genuinely great but the cheese overload and lack of rain cover keep it just short of the top mark.
