I stumbled upon this restaurant by total accident while driving around Sammakorn village looking for a place to eat. What caught my eye was the chef standing inside the brightly lit space, rolling out fresh noodles against a background of kitchen equipment. That peaked my curiosity, so I looked up the restaurant and messaged their page for details. Chef serve Northern Thai cuisine in a course-style setup. The chef gives me complete flexibility with my booking time, lets me bring my own drinks with no corkage fee, and hosts only one group per slot. Chef is extremely polite, genuinely humble, and naturally witty. He even let my friends and me jump in to help cook! We ate, hung out, chatted, and cooked in such a relaxed and fun atmosphere I felt just like having dinner at a friend’s house. As for the food, some dishes are authentically Northern, while others are creative creations using rare ingredients sourced directly from the North. The taste was absolutely incredible—truly top-tier delicious. I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended. Amazing and authentic Khao Soi. Such a brilliant experience. The chef is so talented and kind! This is a must if you come to Sammakorn. Make sure to book in advance because it’s a small, intimate restaurant. Thank you so much LumNer. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
