Hua Hinで｢ナイトマーケット｣が開かれ、露店が建ち並ぶSoi 72の中で、露店街の後ろ側にある一般飲食店＝これら飲食店の従業員も、露店街で客の呼び込みを積極的にやってます。この中でも、今回の訪問時＝週末の土曜日、欧米人やタイ人、一部中国人？でほぼ満席だったお店がココです。満席で厨房もてんやわんやだったと思いますが、出てきたタイ料理は、味付けもドンピシャでめちゃくちゃ美味しかったです。おそらく、料理の注文くらいは英語でも大丈夫だと思います。日本人の方で、Soi72で｢美味しいタイ料理店｣をご希望なら、この店は有力な選択肢です。. I have been active in fine dining (Michelin level) and hospitality for over 35 years and with my wife we have been frequent travellerers in Thailand for at least 15 years. Since last year, my wife and I have been exploring Hua Hin. We have now been to this fish and shellfish restaurant several times. When you walk through the night market, you come across one family restaurant after another, all claiming to have the best dishes. The fish and shellfish are beautifully presented on ice at the front, after which your choice is prepared on a grill or in the open kitchen. Why Lung Ja Seafood? It feels different from its “colleagues” next door; there is a family atmosphere, relaxed, which simply does not feel like a tourist trap, as we recognise from other restaurants. The quality and freshness are sublime. Simply prepared as it should be. In addition to the delicious giant prawns, scallops and crab (all with garlic butter), we always order the fried rice with fresh crab, which is an ideal accompaniment to these dishes. On recommendation of the owner, we tried the yellow crab curry for the first time. If I may say so... this is the best curry I have ever tasted. In my entire career in various *, **, *** star restaurants, this is one of the most delicious fish dishes I have ever eaten. This is not only worth the trip, but several return visits. World class!
