Matcha One is hands down my favorite café from this trip—super worth the splurge Located in a quiet neighborhood, the place already feels special the moment you arrive. The Japanese-style facade and interior give such a calm, intentional vibe - parang you’re meant to slow down and really enjoy the experience What made it even more memorable was the service. They were sooo accommodating—they even called me when they were about to prepare the matcha montblanc so I could watch (and yes, take videos haha ). Such a small detail but made the whole experience feel extra personal and thoughtful. And the food/drinks??? Grabe. The iced bubble matcha latte was SO good—rich matcha flavor and the pearls were super soft (like perfect texture ). The matcha montblanc was not just pretty but also really well-balanced, hindi nakakaumay. And the Hokkaido cheesecake I have no words huhuhu so soft, light, and melts in your mouth. This isn’t just a café—it’s really an experience. If you’re a matcha lover, this place is a MUST

The matcha and dessert varieties are fantastic, the service is great, and staff are friendly. We love sitting at the bar to watch the matcha being prepared and the desserts being made. The shop is a charming old Japanese house with limited space, so it’s best to make a reservation in advance. The shop has a minimum spend and limited seating policy, but the staff might only check it when it gets busy. The overall price is a bit higher than we expected, but everything is going well so far.

One of the best matcha cafes I've visited in Taipei. Incredible ambience and great desserts. The workers are also super friendly, offering photo opportunities and explanations. However, it is slightly more expensive than other options, but it's 100% worth it!
