Brilliant vibe and gorgeous sunset, but hygiene needs attention! Maya Beach Club on Koh Tao is a fantastic spot overall and provided a super experience for us in most respects. What we loved:. The cocktails: We had a passion fruit mojito and a piña colada, and both were absolutely divine! Refreshing, delicious, and perfectly made. The atmosphere and the view: The sunset from here is simply magical; it's hard to get enough of the view. This was paired with amazingly good music that created exactly the perfect, chill "beach club" vibe we were looking for. The issue:. The only, yet rather bothersome, negative was the condition of the cushions on the daybeds. Unfortunately, they were extremely filthy and distinctly smelly, clearly not having been cleaned or replaced in a very long time. At such a beautiful place with great vibes, they really should pay attention to this, as it significantly ruins the comfort level. Despite this, it is absolutely worth a visit for the music, the fabulous sunset, and the fantastic drinks. If they sort out the cleanliness of the beds in the future, this will definitely be a 5-star place! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ฿600–800
