I traveled from Ban Chang, Pathum Thani to MENSHO TOKYO at One Bangkok specifically to buy the Truffle Ramen for takeaway. However, once I arrived, I was told that this specific menu item cannot be ordered for takeaway and must be eaten in-store only because it is a Signature Menu, while other menu items are available for takeaway. What I do not understand is that I previously dined in and ordered the same Truffle Ramen, and when I could not finish it, the restaurant was able to pack the remaining portion for me to take home. However, when I wanted to purchase the same item for takeaway from the beginning, it was refused. This makes the reasoning unclear and inconsistent. The issue is not simply that I could not buy it. The real problem is that this important condition was not clearly disclosed in advance through public channels. As a result, I wasted time, fuel, and effort traveling to the restaurant only to find out at the counter. From a consumer rights perspective in Thailand, this may raise concerns under the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 regarding the consumer’s right to receive accurate and sufficient information before making a purchasing decision, as well as the right to freely choose goods or services without unfair conditions. If the restaurant has a policy restricting takeaway for a specific menu item, it should be clearly announced in advance. Customers should not discover such a condition only after arriving at the store. I would appreciate a written clarification on the following points: 1. Where is the “Truffle Ramen is not available for takeaway” condition publicly announced? 2. Why is this item not available for takeaway while other items are? 3. Why can the same Truffle Ramen be packed as leftovers, but cannot be purchased for takeaway from the beginning? 4. How will the restaurant improve transparency so that other customers do not face the same situation? The food may be good, but this experience significantly damaged my trust in the brand. --- 私は Truffle Ramen を持ち帰りで購入するため、パトゥムターニー県バーンチャンから One Bangkok の MENSHO TOKYO まで行きました。しかし店舗に到着してから、このメニューだけは「Signature Menu のため店内飲食のみ」と説明され、持ち帰り購入を断られました。一方で、他のメニューは持ち帰り可能とのことでした。 私が納得できない点は、以前店内で同じ Truffle Ramen を注文し、食べきれなかった際には、店舗がその残りを包んで持ち帰り対応してくれたことです。しかし今回は、最初から持ち帰りで購入したいと伝えたところ断られました。この対応は、理由が不明確で一貫性に欠けるように感じます。 問題は、持ち帰り不可であること自体ではありません。重要な条件が、来店前に分かる形で公式チャネルや店頭に明確に表示されていなかった点です。そのため、遠方から来た客が時間、燃料代、労力を無駄にする結果となりました。 タイで営業する以上、タイの消費者保護の考え方に沿って、消費者には購入前に正確かつ十分な情報を得る権利があります。タイの消費者保護法 B.E. 2522 においても、消費者が商品・サービスについて十分で正確な情報を得たうえで判断することは重要な権利とされています。 もし特定メニューに持ち帰り制限があるのであれば、事前に明確に公表すべきです。来店後に初めて知らされる条件は、消費者にとって不公平に感じます。 以下について、書面での説明をお願いします。 1. 「Truffle Ramen は持ち帰り不可」という条件は、どこで公表されていますか。 2. なぜこのメニューだけ持ち帰り不可で、他のメニューは可能なのですか。 3. 同じ Truffle Ramen は食べきれなかった場合に包めるのに、最初から持ち帰り購入できない理由は何ですか。 4. 今後、同じ問題を防ぐために、どのように案内を改善しますか。 料理の味以前に、今回の対応はブランドへの信頼を大きく損なうものでした。. バンコクで個人的にはいちばん美味しいと思うラーメン屋さんで、確かにシグニチャーらーめんは3,000円くらいするんだけども、それでも食べたくなっちゃう。今日はもっとスープが熱々にして欲しいなと思ったけど、それでも味はやっぱり美味しかった。やっぱり平日の午後少し遅い時間だと並ばないのでこの時間に来て正解だった。けど、すぐ満席になってたから流石です。.
