If you’re visiting Phrao, you absolutely have to stop by Khun Muen Boat Noodles before heading into town! This place serves authentic, old-style Thai boat noodles with a rich, flavorful broth—no need to add any extra seasoning. The thin rice noodles are perfectly chewy, and the wide noodles are their special type—clear and silky, very appetizing. There are plenty of seats, both indoors and outdoors, so you can choose whichever you prefer. They also offer free drinking water and fresh vegetables with your meal. Parking is easy—there’s lots of space along the roadside right in front of the shop. It gets quite busy around lunchtime, so come a bit early if you don’t want to wait. The owner is super friendly and kind, which makes the experience even better. Tip: This shop is right near Barichta 168 Café, so you can grab a coffee in the late morning and enjoy your boat noodles here for lunch—super convenient!
