Visited this humble caffe near Toa Payoh Hub, which offers an extensive selection of beverages ranging from matcha to coffee. I tried their Lazy Duck Matcha and found it quite enjoyable overall If you’re a fan of creamy, cloud-like drinks, this would likely be right up your alley. The matcha flavour wasn’t particularly bold or prominent, as the creamy texture takes center stage, but it was still a pleasant and well-balanced drink overall The store also offers a selection of freshly baked buns and butter toast, making it a nice spot for a light snack alongside your beverage Overall, while the matcha may not stand out for those who prefer a stronger, more robust matcha taste, it’s still an enjoyable drink and worth trying. Surprised find in such an old estate area. Owners are from hangzhou apparently, vibes are great, prices are very reasonable for the quality. They have some nice mochi bakes as well, tried their free sample but didn’t buy. Got their popular duck matcha for $5.90. The duck is a chewy marshmellow more for presentation and to distinguish themselves but honestly does nothing to the flavor. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Best matcha latte in Toa Payoh, no contest. Stumbled on MT Coffee at 184 Toa Payoh Central, #01-352, Singapore 310184 and now it is my daily stop. The hot matcha latte has deep flavor, not too sweet, and no coffee which I love at night. Owner uncle is super chill and clearly knows coffee. Cozy spot to sit, fair prices, and way better than chain shops nearby. BOSS IS SUPER DUPER FRIENDLY! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
