Modern Chinese restaurant with a stunning 180° Victoria Harbour view. It blends Chinese ingredients from different regions with Western cooking techniques, following a “seasonal eating” concept. The dinner set was creative and beautifully presented. Highlights included the steamed egg with abalone and fish maw, the signature pigeon stuffed with abalone, and the M9 Wagyu sirloin. The dessert with pomelo, rose and Sichuan pepper was unique. The restaurant is pet-friendly, but you need to remark in advance if bringing a pet. The harbour view makes it great for dates, celebrations, or special occasions. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went to Mulan in Harbour City and the service ruined it. An older female server never said a single word to us and looked cold the entire meal. The steak needed a second sear and she didn’t mention it at all — I had to ask, and only then did she say curtly that it had to be heated before coming over to serve it. The beef short rib was far too fatty on top of that. Won’t be back. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100–150
