Owner waived my bill after learning it was my first time trying. The strawberry machi cheese was goooddd. Looks slim but packed full of ingredients! Donut is one of a kind too. Firm but not dense, crispy too! Highlight of my trip because of the owner’s generosity and affability!

It's been a week or so since I bought back and share with family and friends, just leaving my review now. Everyone was sold by the mochi cheese (more preferred this) and canele donut! I was searching for canele for my brother's birthday gift and came across this shop. After looking through the reviews, decided to try my luck and thankfully the owner accepted my order! I ordered the mochi cheese, canele donut and standard canele. Mochi cheese (gift of choice pick!) - The mochi skin is one one of the chewiest and nicest I had. If you had it thawed and eaten, it has a nice bite while the cheesecake felt like ice cream. If you left it for a longer period, the cheesecake will be more cream like texture (think cream puff filling) and the skin will be slightly stickier. Canele donut (innovative pick!) - This is interesting! Taste and texture wise, though it felt slightly sweet for me with both the canele with the slightly caramelised exterior and cream cheese filling. It's has more bite (perhaps due to the shape) compared to the standard canele. Canele (my personal pick!) - This surprised me, perhaps due to the low mentioned of it by others. Unlike those I tried so far, despite taking out from the fridge, it has a crispy crust and a mini chew-cum-creamy centre. I loved the contrast in texture! Compared to the donut, this feels less sweet. P.S. I read that they used to have financier but is no longer available in the new menu. I thought I could try haha I will definitely get it again if I'm in Taiwan in future! P.S.S. I worry /thought over it if posting a review might bombard the owner (super nice and friendly!) with more order requests given his condition.. But the desserts are really good and worth the effort to leave a review! Wish the owner a speedy recover and stay healthy!

The cream cheese canelé is incredibly delicious. When I took my first bite, I thought, “Hmm, this is good,” but the more I ate it, the better it tasted. I’m not usually a fan of canelés, but this one was truly tasty. It’s already popular, but a part of me hopes it doesn’t get too famous because I’m afraid there won’t be any left for me. The owner is also extremely kind. I’m really grateful for the kindness they showed me— I won’t go into details because I don’t want others to expect it as some kind of guaranteed service, but I truly appreciated it.
