SG breakfast choice 好き！ Known and visit sometimes since their first opening of the stall at Amoy St FC. Love their coffee and the way of social business. 元弁護士の女性の社会起業家によるカフェ 日本メディアでも記事に取り上げられたことがあるお店。 売上は、タイの難民支援資金となり、ここでコーヒー等を購入することで自分自身も間接的に社会貢献に寄与していることになる。 素晴らしい活動だしこの仕事のあり方にも尊敬するし応援したい

他人が食べてるのをみてたまらず試してしまいました。既に朝食を済ませた後だったのに、、、。カヤトーストとしては地元のバターが完全に溶けてないオールドスタイルの方が好きですが、トーストしては優れもの。バターが滴っていて中毒性が高い。自宅で再現できるかな？無理かな。次回はキムチチーズサンドを試したい。コーヒーもきっと美味しいに違いないのですが、コーヒーは控えてるので残念ながらパス。ちなみにオーナーは弁護士だそうです。難民の人達を援助する為に始めた事業。. Second visit to Mad Roaster at Amoy Street Food Centre. I ordered my usual Kopi C (less sugar), and pleased to say the quality remains consistent. The coffee is delicious rich, well-balanced, and easily one of the standout options in the hawker centre for those who appreciate a good brew. The stall is managed by a lady, though I have noticed that the service experience can be a bit hit or miss. One of the reasons to support this stall, aside from the coffee, is their social mission. The owner is dedicated to supporting refugees, and the brand’s logo was actually designed by a refugee. It’s heartening to see a small business integrating such a meaningful cause into their brand identity. If you are in the Amoy Street area, it is definitely worth a try for both the caffeine and the cause.
