Have you ever tried Khao Soi with crab or steak? This is the only place that serves it, and it’s amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I would recommend it to any people enjoying thai foods and the one who never tried it. Definitely worth a try ! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Madame K was one of the highlights of our time in Bangkok. From the moment we walked in, we knew this was somewhere special. The atmosphere is incredibly stylish and evocative, with a distinctive early 20th-century Shanghai vibe that feels both elegant and relaxed. It’s the sort of restaurant where you immediately want to linger over another cocktail and another course. The service was outstanding throughout the evening—friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Including the head chef visiting our table for feedback. The staff struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. As impressive as the venue and service were, the food somehow managed to surpass them. We started with the Smoked Duck Betel Leaf Wrap, which was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. For mains, the Duck Confit Khaosoi was exceptional—rich, comforting and one of the best versions of this Northern Thai classic that we’ve tried. The standout dish of the evening, however, was the Braised Soya Sauce Pork Belly. Perfectly cooked, meltingly tender and deeply flavourful, it was simply superb. Bangkok has no shortage of excellent restaurants, but Madame K stands out by combining exceptional food, impeccable service and a truly memorable atmosphere. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Looking for a cozy food spot in Bangkok’s old town area? Madame K Kitchen & Bar, tucked away in Soi Ram Maitri in Pom Prap Sattru Phai, is a charming little place with a relaxed, welcoming vibe—perfect for slowing down away from the busy streets. I tried the Chicken Khao Soi, and it was very satisfying. Rich and fragrant, with a nicely balanced spice kick, tender chicken, and both soft and crispy noodles adding great texture. Comforting, flavorful, and well executed—especially with a refreshing Ginger Ale on the side. The location is also a big plus. It’s close to Bangkok Kunsthalle if you feel like checking out some art, and within easy reach of Hua Lamphong MRT and the railway station—don’t skip the chance to hop on a local train. It’s an easy point to start or end one of your Song Wat or Yaowarat walk. Definitely worth adding to your list. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
