We found Madeljin on Naver Maps looking for Gluten Free options and rice bakeries. It is easy to find and a short walk from the bus. There are actually more 'low gluten' options than gluten free food. The only completely safe item is a cookie. You have to order a drink to be able to sit in the cafe. The egg tart was delicious. Meal type: Other Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and Low gluten

Made a bit of a trek to get here after finding this gem online and it was very much worth it! I have celiac, so I am always on a quest for restaurants and cafes that offer me new options and Madeljen is exactly that! I ordered both the gluten-free pistachio raspberry cheesecake and a gluten-free cake (maybe mango?). I paired those with a peach oolong iced tea. Overall, the desserts were both incredibly delicious and satisfied my craving! And the peach oolong tea really hit the spot and is one of my favorite tea drinks in Korea! The seating areas and ambiance are, quite simply, perfect! Relaxing, but upbeat music and comfortable seating are spot on!
