Hwangtae Jjamppong. When I first saw the menu, I thought it might be an odd combination of ingredients, but when the Hwangtae Jjamppong arrived, I was surprised by its unfamiliarity. First, I took a spoonful of the broth. The rich Hwangtae broth and the spicy chili oil combined with the refreshing spiciness. After drinking a lot the night before, I thought it would be perfect for a hangover cure. In particular, the rich refreshing taste of the Hwangtae broth and the sweetness from the vegetables combined to stimulate the tip of my tongue. I was surprised by the unexpectedness of having a Jjamppong like this. When I put a chopstickful of noodles in my mouth, I could feel the chewiness of the noodles. The noodles were cooked just right, and the flavors of the ingredients permeated the noodles, allowing me to enjoy the chewy texture and the various flavors of the soup ingredients that stimulate my tongue.
